Downtown Durham Athletic Association (DDAA) is a non-profit, tax-exempt organization, founded in 2005. The primary office address is:

345 West Main Street, Ste. 201
Durham, NC 27701
919-433-2418

The objective of DDAA is not financially driven. Instead, our objectives are simply to leverage the growing energies of Durham toward the collective good and betterment of area youth and adults. Further, the heart and soul of our organization is entirely and absolutely built upon inclusion, meaning that we eagerly accept and encourage involvement equally across economic, ethnic, social, and religious backgrounds and persuasions. For DDAA, this is fundamental, and there are no organizational exceptions to this.

The original
DDAA overviews (as pdf) and presentation summaries (as pdf) are also available.

Though our name implies a downtown theme, the organization in no way restricts itself to serving only the downtown area(s). Our focus is Durham-wide.

The
DDAA Board of Directors is comprised of Durham residents, each of who share this common vision.

To acknowledge our supporters, we created the DDAA logo to reflect the combined colors of our neighborhood institutions. Thus, the light blue celebrates the University of North Carolina (Chapel Hill), the deep blue celebrates Duke University, and the burgundy celebrates North Carolina Central University.

We greatly appreciate the help these world-leading institutions have given DDAA: salute!
